200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar

To make the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)

400ml premium vodka

150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing

Instructions

Making the Cordial: Put all the ingredients inside a pot, bring to a light boil, agitating to dissolve. After that, turn off the burner allowing it to cool completely. Transfer into a clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for about one month.

Preparing the Batch Mix: Combine the specified spirits and syrup into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.

To serve: Add 85ml of your cocktail base into your mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch with a light spray of mandarin oil above the glass.
