The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
